Emily-Jane is a London, UK based Focus Puller / 1st Assitant Camera. She is also Managing Director of Emmyland, a bespoke camera equipment rental house in South East London. 

Emily-Jane has extensive experience working within the camera department on narrative feature and short films, music videos, commercials, fashion films, promos, documentary and in factual and studio-based television. She has worked in a variety of roles within the camera department over the last eight years, primarily as Focus Puller, but also as Director of Photography. She has experience working in all working industry digital camera formats including ARRI ALEXA, AMIRA, RED and Sony systems. She also has extensive knowledge of all commonly used industry 35mm and 16mm camera systems including ARRICAM, ARRIFLEX, Panavision, Aaton and Bolex systems. Her technical knowledge, strong leadership and interpersonal skills and extensive experience within the camera department, combined with her unique background in fine art make her a valuable asset to any production.

Emily-Jane was born in 1986 in Birmingham, England and raised in the small beach-side suburb of Leucadia in Southern California by her single Mother, a water-colourist and Landscape Designer. She moved to Los Angeles when she was 17 to study media art and received her BA in Design | Media Arts in 2009 from The University of California, Los Angeles with a Minor in Women's Studies. In 2010, she returned to the UK to London and began her MFA at UCL's Slade School of Fine Art. After receiving her MFA in Fine Art Media in June of 2012, she integrated her research and ongoing fine art studio based practice in filmmaking and photography into her work within the Camera Department on narrative, commercial, television, promotional, music video and various other commercial projects. In her (limited) free time, she continues to pursue a fine art practice from her studio in Deptford, South East London.

Emily-Jane has exhibited her fine art work internationally and her film and photographic work have been featured in DAZED Digital, Promo News, Video of the Day, Noisey, Vice, Vogue Italia, Wonderland, Nowness, Hunger TV, Beautiful Decay, Pitchfork, Promonews, Creative Review, NEON, Zooey Magazine, Evening Chronicle, Art Wednesday, BBC, Indiedemand, Raindance Film Festival, London Film Festival and The London Short Film Festival, amongst many others.

She has worked for clients across the board that include Pulse, Partizan, Caviar, Black Dog, RSA, Mission, Riff Raff, OB Management, The Smalls, Vogue, Google, Mission, FHM, Heal's, Nowness, ICA, Barclaycard, ASDA, Nikon, Channel 4 Random Acts, Flaunt, Across the Pond, HARD Fest, Hunger, Touch Food, Vision Express, Trafalgar Transformed, IBC Tamil, Rockhopper Productions and more.
